Connection pooling with HAP

I have a unique requirement to create a web service out of the resulting scraped data where the consumer can make multiple requests per second using varying parameters. Essentially, I am limited to 1 user ID/pw (I can probably ask for 10 more) to the targeted web application. How do I manage my connections, effectively connection pool, using a 1 or a few user ID/pw, similar to database connection pool? Also, is HAP multi-threaded? If I can't pool the existing connections, I can have the web service consumer submitting individual user ID/pw instead.

Thanks for your insight

HAP is not multi-threaded. It's meant to work with only one file/stream at a time. Pooling your connections and handling threading is up to you. It'd probably be best to use ThreadPool to kick off worker items.
